The British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) has announced the first of their Honorary Fellowships for 2012. Iconic designer Sir Paul Smith will be recognized as an inspiration to the interior design profession by the BIID at the their “Celebrating British Design” Conference that will take place immediately prior to the Institute’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) at RIBA’s London HQ, Portland Place, London on 21st June 2012.

The British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) has revealed that Gordon Lindsay of Gordon Lindsay Design is the recipient of its highest annual accolade, the BIID Merit Award. In another announcement, Caroline Palk of Devon-based Ashton House Design has received the BIID CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Award for her achievement in earning the most CPD points of any BIID member in the calendar year.
